School Reopens during US Coronavirus Cases-has to shutdown within hours

Coronavirus Update : Amid surging coronavirus cases in US & school closings, a school reopens and the Covid infection creeps in. Most of the schools abandoned the plan to reopen in person school after the school in Indiana, US has to shut down within hours. Students had to be quarantined for 14 days.

Worlds Longest Bus Route London Calcutta London

Did you know? The longest bus route in the world spanned 20,300 miles, largely known as London Calcutta London, traveled across 11 countries (at the time). It made 150 trips between 1968-1976, on a luxurious Double-Decker bus nicknamed ‘Albert’.

Argus app by Azumio Inc reports the laziest country of the world

As per US scientists study of anonymous accelerometer data from 700,000 people’s smartphones who used the Argus activity monitoring app, a list has been prepared citing the most laziest countries across the world.

The Stanford University researchers went through an analysis to come up with a global daily steps average of 4,961. Considering that, Hong Kong topped the average with 6,880 steps a day, while Indonesia stood last with just 3,513 steps.

This is by far the most revealing data than any other relevant survey done in the past. This study gives important insights on improving people’s health and facts on obesity.

US Army buys pocket sized drones not available on Amazon

A pocket-sized helicopter drone would now be used by select number of soldiers in real-world operations as a standard kit across a multitude of platoons in the Army of USA

The Army awarded million dollar contract to provide the pocket sized drones for its personnel. These drones by FLIR systems weigh 33 grams.

It was first used by the Army in real world to meet recon needs of troops in Afghanistan in 2016, however the quantity purchased were quite low at that time.

Google My Business is helping local business who got severely affected due to Coronavirus Pandemic by opening up Gift Card links & Donation Links. With this feature, merchants will be able to add a donation link, gift card link or both to their profile along with a personal message in their post to inform customers how funds will be put to use. The links will be displayed on Google My Business profile including search listings and maps. This would hint the customers that the business is going through a rough patch & their contribution can help.
